Balsall Heath Extended School Cluster
– Sports Audit January 2010
Aims of the Project are to:
Deliver interactive, practical, sports-themed workshops in 3 schools as a tool for recording the levels of sports participation (outside of school hours) amongst pupils from years 4, 5 and 6
The pupils will be asked five main questions:
What sports do you do?
How many hours of sport do you do per week?
When do you play sport?
Where do you play sport?
What sports do you want to do in the future?
We will then write, distribute and collect simple questionnaires (based on the questions above) to the remaining 3 schools that we do not visit (please note that we are reliant on the cooperation of the schools to complete the questionnaires, and we cannot be held responsible if they do not complete or return them)
We will analyse and collate all of the collected information from the children into a well-structured, professional report to be presented to the Balsall Heath Extended School Cluster
Lastly we will carry out desk-based research into local sports provision and sports facilities, and to analyse, collate, and present this information into a list to be used as deemed appropriate by the Balsall Heath Extended School Cluster
