St. Paul's Community Trust

St Paul's Nursery

We aim to provide a safe, happy and secure environment, in which children can grow to become confident learners. We aim to nurture each child’s curiosity and imagination, providing them with opportunities to discover and learn independently.

We group the children by age; 0-2 years and 2-5 years. Our aim is to provide them with a broad and balanced range of experiences, covering all developmental areas and stages with equal emphasis.

Above all we aim to develop each child’s interests, meeting the needs of every child as an individual. Our staff team, toys and equipment reflect a diverse range of cultures and individuality is positively promoted through out the nursery.

We encourage the children to use all areas of the nursery environment, inside and outside, to support their learning.

Meals

All meals are cooked on the premises using fresh ingredients. Meals are well balanced and culturally diverse.

We aim to accommodate all dietary requirements, whether these are medical, allergies or relating to faith or cultural reasons. Water is available for the children to drink at all times. Separate food is prepared for the youngest babies, although parents and carers can send in food from home for them if preferred.

Breakfast is provided for those who arrive before 9.00am. Fresh /dried fruit and milk or water are available throughout the day.
