Playcare

St. Paul’s Venture manages three after school clubs each called ‘The Nest’, which provide affordable, quality childcare for parents after school in the term time and all day during the school holidays (except over the Christmas holidays). Children are collected from school and escorted safely to the clubs where they can enjoy a healthy drink and snack for tea and then play until their parents come to collect them. All our clubs are registered with Ofsted. Our lovely staff are all qualified and experienced or attending college to become qualified. We are committed to providing a quality service and regularly consult with our parents and, most importantly, with the children.

The children enjoy a wide range of activities including art & craft, sports & games, cooking, construction toys, ‘home corner’ toys and dressing up clothes, board games, free play and more!

During the holidays we take them on lots of trips out and are always seeking funding to provide additional activities such as drama, music, art and sports workshops.

Our three clubs are:

• The Nest at the Venture – collecting children from Clifton, Park Hill, St Martin de Porres, St John & Monica, Nelson Mandela and Tindal Schools.
• The Nest at King David School – providing child care for children at King David’s School & Nursery.
• The Nest at Calvary Church Hall – collecting children from Moseley C of E School, St. Bernard’s and St Martin de Porres School.

During School Holidays

We offer playcare at two venues during the school holidays (except Christmas) Monday to Friday from 8a.m. to 6p.m.

• The Nest at The Venture, Clifton Road, Balsall Heath for children aged 5 to 11 years.
• The Nest at Calvary Church, Oxford, Moseley for children aged from 3 to 11 years.
