Our Ofsted registered Playcare service is called ‘The Nest’, which provides quality childcare for working parents and students after school and all day during the school holidays. Children are collected from local schools: Clifton Primary, Nelson Mandela School, St. Martin de Porres and St John & Monica schools and Park Hill Primary. The children are collected from class and escorted to the club where they can enjoy a healthy snack and a drink and then play until their parents come to collect them. Our lovely staff are all qualified and experience, we are committed to providing a quality service and regularly consult with our parents and, most importantly, with the children.
The children enjoy a wide range of activities including art & craft, sports & games, cooking, construction toys, ‘home corner’ toys and dressing up clothes, board games, computers and ‘free play’.
During the holidays we take them on lots of trips out and are always seeking funding to provide additional activities such as drama, music, art and sports workshops.
For further information please contact the club co-ordinator on 0121 464 1888 to arrange a visit. Registration and holiday booking forms can be downloaded by clicking on the links at the bottom of this page.
In May 2017, we had an Ofsted inspection and we are pleased to announce that we were awarded Outstanding.
Chief Executive David Cusack said, “I am so proud of our dedicated staff team who put children at the heart of everything we do. St Paul’s has a proud and long record of providing high quality services for children and families and this report confirms yet again how we support the development of children and families in a meaningful long term way.”
