St Paul’s Trust is a recognised Local Development Agency (LDA) and a member of the Development Agencies Network, which consists of six support organisations who work across the whole of Birmingham. We are currently funded by the Big Lottery on Supporting Change. Collectively we provide support and training opportunities to local voluntary and community groups.
The Development Agency can provide organisations with suitable training to enhance their personal and professional development. Training can be provided for management, staff, volunteers and committee members which are tailored to the needs of the organisation.
Advice and guidance is also provided by experienced staff with specialist knowledge who can offer expert consultancy on a number of issues relating to voluntary and community groups. Specialist advice can also be provided to members of staff within St Paul’s Trust as well as staff from other external agencies.
The Development Agency can help find resources that are useful to voluntary organisations so that the right kind of support is made available for them. Examples of resources that might be useful can include templates for forms and policy development, library of books as well as a range of other useful resources.
