Hundreds of people came out to enjoy our Autumn Fair on Saturday 16th October. The Fair was held as part of the Trust’s 30th birthday celebrations.
It was good to meet people who live locally as well as ex-members of staff who worked in the area during the 1970s. People from across the whole organisation were involved in putting on art and craft activities, tombolas, face painting, mendhi and the guided visits to the Victorian Classroom.
We were honoured to receive a visit from the Deputy Lord Mayor, Councillor Michael Wilkes and Deputy Lady Mayoress, Vivienne Wilkes who helped us celebrate by releasing 1000 balloons. There will be a prize awarded to the individual and school class whose balloon travels the furthest, so look out for details soon!
