The Balsall Heath Local History Society runs Genealogy classes on Mondays at the Venture for just £3 per head. Sessions run from 10:00 through till 3pm and you can “drop in” at any time. Forthcoming dates are 8th June, 15th June, 6th July, 13th July, 20th July, 27th July. (click for more info)

Available to those who come along is full access to the Ancestry online genealoogical databases plus other internet resources. There is also a library of genealogical material. On hand for advice and guidance is Chris Sutton. Chris writes a weekly Genealogy help column in the Birmingham Mail on Tuesdays as well as regular pieces in the Heathan.
