In the Heathan this month the theme for this years Balsall Heath Carnival is revealed along with the programme of events for the big day. Balsall Heath Is Our Planet provide handy tips on how to wash clothes economically while helping the environment and the Moseley Swap Shop show how new homes can be found for unwanted objects.
Elderly residents showed the younger generations how to keep fit when they celebrated May Day at the Edward Road Church Centre by dancing around a May Pole and for those over 60 wanting to keep up the keep fit the Saheli Adventure Hub offer free exercise taster sessions.
