This month the Heathan goes behind the scenes at Clifton Junior School to find out how they are able to create their stunning Carnival costumes every year and at the same time win awards for leading the field in using the arts within the curriculum.
Community leaders and the new Chief Executive at the Heart of Birmingham Teaching Primary Care Trust celebrate the completion of the newly refurbished Edward Road Health Centre and the police make greater strides to improve access to the Police Station on Edward Road through help with the community.
The Lord Mayor helps local group C.A.T.S. celebrate their new premises and the continuation of their excellent services while Balsall Heath Is Our Planet provide advice on some of the ways residents can make the most of their gardens with little effort.
