Hundreds of people came along to our Grand Spring Fayre today. As part of the Trust’s 30th birthday celebrations, we opened both of our main sites and invited everyone to visit our Victorian classroom, view photographs from our archive, see demonstrations, take part in art and craft activities and sample a wide range of home made cakes and other delights.
Also very popular were the very beautiful Mendhi designs and exotic face painting. We would like to thank John from Balsall Heath is our Planet, Howard from the Balsall Heath Forum, and everyone from Daddy long legs and the Local History Society for helping to make the day so special. Look out for more opportunities to help us celebrate in the near future.
