Balsall Heath Local History Society

There is an exciting new project starting at St Paul’s to document the history of immigrants and their families in Balsall Heath, in particular the history of food and the carnival and how Balsall Heath has changed over the years.

This is a chance to be part of history! The information will be used to create an exhibition in Balsall Heath and The Heathen.

The History Society is looking for volunteers to interview members of their community in either English or your local language. Translators are also required. Everyone interviewed does not have to give his or her real name and all volunteers taking part will be credited. Training will be provided.
