Volunteer Forum

At St Paul’s Community Development Trust we value the input of volunteers and welcome their ideas.

In April there was a Volunteers Forum where supervisors and volunteers were invited to share their stories, hear about current volunteer opportunities, identify ways to improve the scheme and ways to make the scheme more inclusive.

Volunteers and supervisions were also given the chance to check their task descriptions were accurate.

As a result of feedback at the Forum there will now be taster sessions so all volunteers will meet their supervisors and attend a taster session before they commit to the placement.

This gives the volunteer a chance to see if it’s what they really want to do.
