Volunteering is an excellent way to gain work experience

Give something back to your community
Develop new skills

Build up your CV

We warmly welcome volunteers at St. Pauls and believe they have a very valuable contribution to make to our work in all departments.

There are many opportunities within the different departments of St. Paul’s and other local community organisations.
We will try our best to find a placement that fits in with your availability, your interests, skills and goals.
All volunteer placements are subject to suitable references and a CRB check, which St. Paul’s Personnel team will process for you.

All volunteers receive training in Safeguarding, Equality, Data Protection and Health and Safety.
There is also the opportunity to gain OCN qualifications.
Each month there is a volunteer training session;
recent ones have included energy saving advice, confidence building, citizen journalism and a tour of the BBC.
