Balsall Heath Local History Society meetings usually take the form of talks and presentations on a variety of subjects, ranging from Birmingham history to more local topics relating to Balsall Heath in particular.

Balsall Heath Children’s Centre is launching a new group called Communication Matters on Friday 13th January 2012.
There will be a range of activities such as having fun with art and a Mendhi drop-in.
You will have the opportunity to extend communication skills with your child, make new friends and learn new skills.
You can drop in between 1pm and 3pm
These sessions take place term time only

The Balsall Heathan community newspaper is the longest standing publication of its kind in Birmingham. The Heathan provides a mouthpiece for interested groups, local residents and individuals and actively promotes local interest and pride in the local community of Balsall Heath.
