Gill Coffin Photo - Trustee

After over 40 years of loyal service to St. Paul’s Community Development Trust as a Trustee and Chair of Board of Trustees, Gill Coffin has decided to retire from her role at St Paul’s at the AGM in October. Having joined the organisation in 1979, Gill went on to be Chair of the Board for most of the following years.

Gill said,

“St Paul’s has been part of my life for a very long time, and I shall miss the challenges, the successes, and above all the people. But I’m not getting any younger and my health is not as good as it was, so it’s time to stand down. I hope to keep in touch, and continue to attend events.  I am sure St Paul’s will continue to work tirelessly with and for the people of Balsall Heath and beyond, maintaining its wide range of services, and developing new initiatives. Thanks to everyone who has supported me and the Trust over the years.”

Chief Executive Dave Cusack said,

“I have only known and worked with Gill for just short of three years. In that time we have gone through a challenging period in which Gill has been a source of inspiration, given fantastic support to me and the senior team and provided me with a wealth of information about the organisation. Gill has taken the decision to step down and take a well-deserved rest and while sad to see her leave us I hope she has a happy fulfilled life away from St. Paul’s. From all staff and volunteers at St. Paul’s thank for your work on behalf of the organisation and good luck into the future.”

We interviewed Gill to get her thoughts on her decision to retire and her thoughts on her 40 years working with the Trust.
