The Healthy Families HENRY programme is designed to give parents the tools and skills they need for a healthy family lifestyle. As a parent we want best for our children, but it’s not always easy to know what they need or make healthy choices, for this reason many of us aren’t sure where to turn for support and advice on how to raise our families. HENRY programme has helped thousands of families adopt a healthier and happier lifestyle.

Healthy Families covers five main themes:

  • Parenting skills
  • How we eat
  • What we eat
  • Being active
  • Emotional well-being

This 8 week programme combines practical activities with sound information and further tips on Let’s Get Cooking and Let’s Get Active, give extra nutritional advice, some recipes to try and plenty of ides to keep children and family active.

St Paul’s has been delivering the HENRY programme for 7 years and has evidenced the positive impact it has had on the lives of many families. We recently had our programme delivery observed by HENRY’S Quality Officer. The feedback received was extremely positive.

“So much fantastic work and skilled delivery, and amazing parent feedback and results too”

Our results show

  • Parents rating our programme over 7 out of 10
  • Parents saying their lifestyle had significantly improved following the programme.
  • More adults and children eating fruit and vegetables five times a day
  • All parents would recommend our programme to others.

Parents who have attended the HENRY programme said:

“HENRY works so well because we are spoken to listened to and included rather than being done too and told.”

“HENRY facilitators made me feel comfortable and welcome learnt a lot and makes me think what can be improved.”
