Birmingham Forward Steps local launch

Thanks to all the families, staff, volunteers and partners who came along to Sparkhill Park on 23rd August to join in the fun at our local launch of Birmingham Forward Steps. In Partnership with St Paul's Trust, we ran egg and spoon races, built a pirate ship out of recycled material and even said hello to the Bookstart Bear.

Well in all the excitement of the World Cup and England making it through to penalties and winning a knock out game we nearly forgot about the epic battle between the Mighty Old Boys Cross Guns and the Magnificent Moseley Town Colts. The final result … 3-3. Yes, it had to go to penalties. Well done to the Old Boys who won 4-3.
