St. Paul’s are happy to support the Edgbaston jobs fair at Warwickshire County Cricket Club.
We were able to provide 20 play scheme places per day for children most affected by Covid over the Easter holidays. We opened for 9 days and ran afternoon sessions offering children healthy snacks and fun activities including Easter art & craft, sports and games, an Easter Egg Hunt, activities on the farm and trips out to Moseley Bog.
All the children were referred by our local schools and they really enjoyed themselves. The scheme was fully funded by ‘The Grimmitt Trust’ who have supported our play schemes previously and kindly donated enough funding to enable everything to be free of charge for parents. We were also donated Easter Eggs from the YMCA that were well received!
We will be hosting a FREE session on how to prune a fruit tree at the Farm on Sunday 1st of December.
The session is due to commence at 11 am and expected to be finished by 4 pm, the session is FREE to attend and is open to all.
To book a place, please call 0121 464 1888 or send an email over to Hywel.Williams@stpaulstrust.org.uk
Please remember to dress up warm and we hope to see you soon.
Last week saw the launch of the new Hall Green District Values.
The four core values, developed by staff from The Springfield Children’s Centre and St Paul’s Trust Children’s Centre, represent the way parents, staff and volunteers come together to provide children with the best start in life.
Sadly, we had to postpone the session on the winter maintenance of fruit trees due to sickness.
The session will go ahead on Wednesday 30th January instead
Wednesday 30th January we are working with Balsall Heath is Our Planet to host a session on the winter maintenance of Fruit Trees, the session is FREE to attend and is open to everyone.
Please see the poster above for more information or contact us on 0121 464 1888.
#SaveOurFarm – a meeting to discuss ways forward and how YOU can help!
We’ve had lots of kind offers from individuals to help secure a sustainable future for this #UrbanOasis, a much-needed community resource in the Inner City. So we can all pull in the same direction and work together we have arranged a meeting.
