Sarah has worked with pupils with SEMH for 6 years as an English Teacher for Key Stage 3 and 4. Prior to working in schools, Sarah was an English teacher in Offender Learning for 8 years. Sarah has taught Functional Skills English, GCSE English Language and Literature for fourteen years to all ages, following a BA degree in English Literature and Education Studies. Sarah is a qualified teacher with a Post Graduate Certificate in Post Compulsory Education.
Sarah has previously worked with Primary through to Post 16 and has supported children with Special Needs into college, apprenticeships, university and career opportunities. She has also taught several subjects including Citizenship, Family Man, Drug and Alcohol Awareness and Entry to Employment.
Having worked with looked after children in previous settings and with experience of a foster family at home, Sarah became LAC co-ordinator in September 2020.
